Pumpkins in the "Fall"

Today Kara, Dena, Amy and I took our boys to the Mommy and Me day at the Dallas Arboretum. We realized our first mistake when we pulled into the arboretum behind a line of cars, and look over to see strollers galore all walking into the place. The mistake being that our boys are too young to enjoy the activities they have on the mommy and me day, so we chose a day that was extra crowded. Second mistake - (not our fault)- the weather! It was so stinkin' hot! We all had sweat dripping down our clothes (I know, yuck). Our poor boys were all in overalls - we stripped them to their shirts, after we got their pictures of course. We walked in, went right to the pumpkin patch, took pictures, fed Hudson, Tanner, and Porter, and left. We decided we paid $13 for pictures. But, despite everything, we had a great time and I'm glad we ventured out! I feel so blessed to be able to make these memories with such wonderful friends!

Reid was very interested in the grass and kept wanting to put it in his mouth!

No, that's not something on your computer screen that needs to be wiped off...just dirt that I didn't notice was on his face until I took the picture! :)

Tanner and Reid (notice the grass in his hand...)

Heading out and looking forward to being blasted by the A/C!
