Busy Little Boy!

This is a little late getting out, but what can I say? My 8 month old is keeping me BUSY! That is exactly the word I would use to describe him at this stage. He is into everything! He is so curious and loves to explore...we're definitely needing to babyproof! I never thought diaper changing could be so difficult - as soon as I lay him down, he wants to roll over and move and see what he can get into. I've discovered that he loves his lotion bottle, so sometimes I can actually get him to be still on his back if he's holding the lotion. He has also starting what I call a "wounded soldier" crawl. He drags his body with one arm, keeping the other arm down by his side. Sometimes he'll even lift his little butt in the air. But, hey, at least he's figuring out how to move and get to things. We've also found that we can actually go out to eat now! We can keep him happy by feeding him puffs, crackers, or any other finger food and he's kept busy trying to bring it to his mouth.

Got him to stay on his back with his favorite bottle of lotion so I can change his diaper! (at least for a few seconds)

Picking up a puff...

Successful! Made it to the mouth!

Got it!

Okay, I know this is random and you don't know me but I just had to laugh about the "wounded soldier" because I just blogged about my little boy doing the same thing and that what we call it!

I ended up on your page through Alli Penuel's blog. Looks like our boys are about the same age (mine will be 8 months on the 21st) and are both wiggly, curious little guys.

Congrats on your sweet baby!
