Yum, yum!

I've been wanting to make Reid a smoothie for awhile now, because he's reluctant to try many fruits, but he loves drinks so I thought this might be a way to get some extra fruit in. I blended it up, put it in an adult cup, added a straw and gave it to him. He loved it! (Of course, I was following closely behind to make sure that the smoothie didn't go anywhere besides his mouth! I knew that was a disaster waiting to happen!) I first put it in a sippy cup, but he wasn't doing well drinking it, and so I put it in a regular cup, and he drank it all. Now, if only vegetable smoothies were as appealing!!

**Also, I really want to get the Magic Bullet - as seen on infomercials. Clean up would be so much easier!!**

Smoothie
*handful of frozen fruit (I used a mixture of strawberries, mangos, and pineapples)
*1 Yo Baby yogurt (I used just what I had on hand - raspberry and pear combo)
*some orange juice
Blend together and pour in glass!

Toddler, and dog, approved ;)

Yum! Don't tell Addie, but I put fresh broccoli in her smoothies. You can barely taste it. I have a friend that has put carrots in or you could use some of the v8 fruit/veggie juice. Sometimes you've got to sneak in as much as you can!

Girl...don't you worry a second! Your comment didn't bother me at all! :) I'm sure it's a bit true! Love you!

I tried this and Carter LOVED it! I put it in a kid's cup I had brought home from Jason's Deli and it worked out great. Thanks for the idea!
