When Matt's away, it's off to Grandma and Grandpa's to Stay!!

Matt rarely travels, but when he does, I don't like staying in our house by myself so I go to my parent's house. Last week was a special week because Reid and I got to spend part of the week with my parents and then the rest with Matt's parents. (Matt flew in Friday night and just flew to Longview, where his parents live.) So, it was a fun, busy week! While with Mimi and Pops, we went to see the trains at Northpark and Aunt Bibby came with us, went to Southlake Town Square, and just hung around the house. In Longview, we went to Reid's cousin, Natalee's, 2nd birthday party at Pump it Up which all the kids just loved. After going down a big slide by himself, Reid was a little hesitant though at "jumping" into the other inflatable activities - he was happier just running around the ground, playing with the balls and riding in the coupe car they had. After the playing, it was time for pizza and cake. The little kids all sat at a small table and ate their pizza - it was the cutest thing to see! Reid sat there with all the other kids and ate 4 slices of pizza and a piece of cake!! Just another reminder that he's growing up!

Reid had his serious, studying face on the entire time we were at the train exhibit!

One of the store displays at Northpark had this Santa with trees in front of him going back and forth and so we would say "Peep-eye!" Well, Reid loved it and so all day all we heard was "peep-eye" and "choo-choo"

Reid loved Mimi's "po-po-ree" and we told Matt that this new word he learned was a result of watching too much HGTV...haha

Reid also loved watching his DVD in new places...

Another funny sight was: my parents had this reindeer that played "jingle bells" and so Reid would want it turned on...

...and then while it was playing he would run as fast as he could around this toy! He probably did this at least 20 times! He would occasionally call out a person's name and that person would have to run with him - a good work-out!
