Update

Ok, so now you've seen our news, thought I'd update a little! I'm 8 weeks along, due August 20, although we'll do a C-section 10 days early. This pregnancy is a little different from Reid's - I'm now considered high risk because of what happened when I was pregnant with Reid (read here for the story) and so I have to give myself daily injections of blood thinner. Not fun, but on the flip side, I'll get to have a sonogram every 4-6 weeks which is always fun! My doctors who I'll see for this pregnancy include: a hematologist, a perinatologist, and of course my OB/GYN. Luckily they're all at the same hospital. I was feeling great up until 7 weeks and then it hit. I'm feeling so much worse than I did with Reid; with him I just got extremely tired. Not only am I always tired, but I have a constant "icky" feeling all day - it never goes away! I am SO READY for the first trimester to be over so I can feel better!

I have tons of pictures to post from Christmas and New Years, so I may just do a photo story...sometime soon...hopefully I'll get some energy to do that.

Glad you and baby are doing well! You both and in my prayers and hopefully no complications will arise :)
If little bitty arrives on August
10th, then little bitty will have a new friend who is 21 years and nine days older! Just a little fact :)

I have been following your blog for a while and all your other blogging buddies from Texas. Congrats on the baby- I am 36.5 weeks pregnant now with my second child and this whole pregnancy I have had to give myself injections of Lovenox and now I am giving Heparin as I am in the last 3 weeks. I have a blood clotting condition that was found in between my first and second child. I have been seeing a hematologist also. The shots are really not bad at all, nothing to be worried about. I hope your pregnancy is uneventful!

I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. I felt horrible until week 17 - not that it will take that long for you. I so hope not! Anyway will be checking back for updates. Hope and pray all goes well. I know your first pregnancy was not ideal.

I totally feel your pain Meredith! Maybe it's just a 2nd baby thing or MAYBE we're both having girls this time!! Can't wait for you to start feeling better. Maybe we can coordinate our appointments.

So fun....I am due August 22nd, but will do a C-section on August 15th (if everything stays the same size wise with the baby!) I am right there with you on feeling great up until 7 weeks...that's exactly when it hit me! I'm just extremely exhausted and the nauseau comes and goes....hopefully it will end for both of us quickly. Congrats again!
