Flying HIGH!!
Today was the perfect day for our boys' playgroup to meet for a little outdoor fun. The perfect place? DFW airplane observation area and then lunch at the Rainforest Cafe! The boys LOVED being outside, seeing the big airplanes landing, being able to run up and down the grassy hills, and just plain enjoying the nice weather! Afterward, we loaded up and headed to Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine Mills mall. We got there at 11:00 hoping to beat the crowd and be in and out because we all know the length of a toddler's attention span. Well, there was definitely not a crowd, but our waiter TOOK FOREVER doing everything so we were still there for an hour and a half!! It seriously took all my energy to keep Reid from having an all out fit - although he did have to apologize a couple times to Dena who was sitting next to him for throwing his sippy cup and having it land on or around her! Even though I have really noticed a difference in behavior since Reid turned two, that still won't stop us from going out and having fun with our friends!!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Meredith! We are super excited to be having a boy. I am glad to hear that this last half of pregnancy will go by super fast. I guess I need to start picking names, nursery, etc. I haven't done anything yet. I was wondering also how you found your playgroup? I am not going to work after the baby is born and will need some adult interaction so I don't go NUTS!!!!!!!!! :-)
What a fun time! Carter would LOVE that! He is SO into planes, trains and automobiles-ha! I will have to check that out online. Also,I am glad tp hear that someone else doesn't have perfect behavior at resturants! We are REALLY working on not bothering eveyone around us!
