Most of the babies - I just can't get over all the testosterone! Chloe will definitely have her pick! (she's the only one wearing pink) :)
The Spring Babies playgroup also got together at Willow Bend for a little lunch and shopping. Of course, with 8 babies, nothing is ever "little." For example, we were to meet around 11:30, but with naps which made some of us late, going to order lunch while the others watched your baby at the table, maneuvering with strollers, etc. by the time we actually ate it was around 12:30. Then we decided to go stroll around, but before we could do that, we just had to do a photo op! Ok, now we're ready to go stroll- but wait! It's been long enough that it was eating time for some of the babies! While Leslie and Summer fed Leslie's boys, I went into the Neiman Marcus restroom to feed Reid. Finally! We are ready to go- 2 1/2 hours after first getting to the mall. We went to a couple of baby stores and even had time for some mom stores! (cool mom stores that is - J Crew, Anthropologie). We had a great afternoon of "shopping!"
Can you imagine seeing all of us at the mall?? What a crazy sight!
Also this week, Reid and I got together with one of my other playgroups. We all have boys and have become really close friends! This is the group that started off with 2 babies and 4 pregnant mamas, but now everyone has arrived. Brittney had us all over to her house for a DELICIOUS lunch of chicken, pasta, and the best banana pudding I've ever had (we missed Alli and Chapman). We had such a fun time together and we're also planning on reading Bringing Up Boys by James Dobson. (which reminds me - I still have to buy the book...) Of course, during photo op, Reid showed everybody his strong set of lungs. Matt and I know how loud he can be - both when he squeals in happiness and when he's screaming because he's mad- and he was definitely not happy about having his picture taken! However, once we put all the babies on the couch, he was much better because of his paci, and because he really liked Tanner's pants which had feeties of little zebras. In all of the pictures Reid is trying to grab Tanner's feet! Luckily Tanner has an easy-going personality and didn't seem to mind at all.
