Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to Prestonwood's candlelight service at 4 with my parents and afterward they came over to our house for a non-traditional Christmas dinner. We'll start this tradition for whoever is in town - a Christmas Eve service and chili dinner. We had a great time and even though it was Reid's bedtime, he hung in there until 8:00 having fun with his Mimi and Pops and his Aunts Brittany and Courtney. We enjoyed this Christmas Eve of not staying up late putting out presents that come from Santa or putting together toys. I'm sure we should have taken advantage of that and will realize it come next year when we're assembling long into the night and early morning! (I say we, but who are we kidding. Am I going to be up assembling?? I think not! That's a "blue" job.)
