Great Wolf Lodge

We had Matt's Summer Regionals at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas (an indoor/outdoor hotel water park) over the weekend. Every summer we get to go somewhere different and Matt's whole work region gets together with families. Last year, we went to the Woodlands (see post) - which means I've been a blogger for a year! How quickly a year goes! In fact, summer regionals always seems to fall on my birthday, so it means another year older for me. Anyway, so this year it was close to home. The Great Wolf is a really cool place! We enjoyed the outside area where they had a very shallow pool which Reid loved walking in, and we took him into the indoor water park where they had a neat toddler area. Matt and some of his friends even rode one of the water slides and thought it was fun! So, it's a great place for all ages. I was really bad with taking pictures, so I only got a few, but here they are! :)

Two important ingredients for the relief on a hot summer day: water and sunscreen (SPF 50 for Reid, SPF 4 for Matt and I...yes, they do actually make an SPF 4) :)

Look, Mom! Can I ride that slide?? Um, no.

Forgot another important ingredient, SNACKS!!

This was my water, but after Reid dropped a teddy graham in the bottle, I just let him have it...

Can you please take a break from snacking to get a picture with your mommy??? ;)
