Was anybody else surprised at DeAnna's choice??? I'm not sure what I think - on one hand, Jesse does seem like a cool guy (even if he ALWAYS says "that's ridiculous, it's ridiculous" or "rad" or any other surfer sayings) but they just really don't seem to go together! One thing that TOTALLY annoyed me was how DeAnna kept saying "Oh, honey" in the "After the Final Rose" show. It all kind of seemed fake, like they were trying to act like a couple in love, although maybe they truly are. I just felt sorry for Jason ...even though he is kind of wimpy (my husband used another word that I'm not going to put in writing on a blog). I mean, did you notice how everytime he saw DeAnna he would run to her?? I guess I'm just into more of a manly man. I did tell Matt that maybe he was just self-conscience about the cameras watching him walk so he had to run to cut that time shorter. Oh well, I'm just sad that my Monday night TV show won't be on anymore. I'm ready for the Fall shows to start! I don't have anything to watch now! (except maybe Living Lohan or Complicated...)

Do you not just love it when me put their two cents in? Whenever the girls are watching drama or a reality show, dad walks in and says in a few nicer words, "turn the garbage off."

I am laughing SO hard!! Jason was pretty wimpy...my husband used a few choice words about him, too!! I didn't like Jesse at first, but he grew on me...I think he could do a lot better than Deanna...she really annoys me! Especially her 'ridiculous' usage of 'honey' last night. Ech.
BTW...I'm adding you to mine, too!!
Jason and Jesse were my two faves from very early on...so I would've been excited with either one. Although the gay running and the "ridiculous" were my pet peeves about those guys too...but if those are the only problems, I think they're both pretty amazing. I was just glad to see Jeremy gone...why did he feel the need to come back again?! Obnoxious! I'm just sad that the show's over...now I don't know what I'll do with my Monday nights :(
i was excited about jesse. he seems down to earth and fun. i think jason had "lived" a lot more experiences than she has so far in her life. i would have wanted someone to go through all of the changes together with, at the same time. jason was a great guy though! and scott definitely used the rewind button to make me watch him run SEVERAL times...then he shook his head and said, that guy is not athletic AT ALL, she has to go with the snowboarder. ha.

I was not shocked because when Graham got kicked off and I was picking my jaw off the floor, I got on the internet and started snooping around. I really thought it was a joke or something. Anyway, I ran across an interview with Twilley. He said Graham and Jeremy were the next to go and that she was picking Jessie. Honestly, I thought to myself,"Twilley, sweetheart..., you don't have a clue." (-: In the interview, he said that she was talking to Jessie every chance she got. Personally, I think she should have dated Jessie (Mr. Cool, Adventurer) and Graham (super HOTTIE, Sexy, Sexy) in her early twenties. Then when she was ready to settle down and start a family, pick Fred (Mr. Nice Guy, super funny, great job, who will treat his wife like a queen.) Okay, am I too involved in the show or what????
I love it! This was the best Bachelor/Bachelorette yet! (Actually, I have been addicted to all of them!). I would have never predicted from the first show when Jesse came in wearing that hideous jacket & pink shoelaces that he would end up with "the final rose!" but he totally grew on me! They both totally annoyed me on the After the Final Rose show though! Like you guys, I am so sad the show is over- now I am so ready for The Hills to start back on Monday nights!!!
I'm sad my Monday night show is over too! I was so sure it was going to be Jason up until the finale...then, from the editing, I had a feeling it would be Jesse. I completely agree with you...they just don't seem to fit together. I liked both guys, although I wasn't a big fan of D. This was such a great season, though.
Okay, I'm a little late on commenting, but for some reason I picked Jesse early on in the finale. He was definitely not my pick from the beginning of the show though. I don't know, I guess they seem happy together. They seem to be committed, but who knows! Very sad that it's over. Although, my husband did say on the first episode that Jason wouldn't win, but will be picked to be the next Bachelor. I think that is a fantastic idea!
