Fun in the Sun

Dena had playgroup at her house today and she had it set-up for summer! After enjoying a delicious lunch of chicken salad that Dena made (me) and mac and cheese (Reid - although it is the organic brand so it makes me feel better about him eating that...) we all headed outside where she had 2 inflatable frog pools for the boys to play in. We, of course, tried to get a picture of them all in the pool but you can probably guess that it did not go quite according to plan! At least we tried. Thanks for having us all over!

Calling Mimi (SEE SIDENOTE)

SIDENOTE: For the last couple of months whenever I talk to my mom (Mimi) on the phone, she likes to be put on speaker to talk to Reid. Well, now Reid calls phones "Mimi" and the last 2 times we've been in the store and he's gotten antsy and fussy I've given him my phone to play with. But, instead of just being happy with the phone, he proceeds to throw the biggest fit yelling, screaming, and crying and holding the phone out to me to call Mimi. So, I'll call Mimi and she'll talk to him on speaker which buys me some more time because he just sits there and stares at the phone while she talks. So, I hope I'm not teaching him that all he has to do is cry to get what he wants...but I'm not about to leave a cart of groceries! I don't want to have to come back!! BTW - I loved reading all the comments about discipline on the previous post!!
