Happy Independence Day!

We went to Longview for the 4th and we had so much fun hanging out, relaxing, and eating! Matt's parents live on a lake, so it's always a nice place to spend on these hot days! Reid and his cousin Natalee are really starting to notice each other, and Reid calls her "baby" even though she's 3 months older than him! Reid experienced sand for the first time...he wasn't sure what to think at first, but then got used to it and loved it. There were fireworks on Friday night, but Reid was just too exhausted to stay up and watch them, and went to bed a couple hours before they happened. Next year I know he'll enjoy them! One of my neighbors paints the cutest clothes and so I had her make a shirt for Reid. I didn't get a picture of him wearing it while we were there, but got one at home today. Looking for an adventure!

So enthralled with the "stick" that just wouldn't come out of the ground!

This is so cool! Thanks Granna!

After getting used to the sand, he loved playing in it! Granddaddy was making him laugh and I love the expression on his face. :)

Throwing sand is so much fun!

LOVE the sand pictures. His expression is precious! He's just looking so much older these days. :)

Sounds like you all have had a lot going on--I'm glad you're doing well!
